Summer ARTS Workshop Series
3 Weeks of Visual Art Workshops
The Summer Arts Workshop Series, held on the beautiful campus of Western Carolina University, offers an exciting range of Art Workshops in Book Arts, Ceramics, Mixed Media, Painting, Printmaking and Photography.  During each week-long immersion, participants learn and discover new concepts and techniques, share thoughts and ideas in a setting surrounded by majestic mountains and summer botanicals. Imagine sharing ideas, meals, and outings with other artists from around this country and from other parts of the globe. At Cullowhee Mountain ARTS you will find a like-minded community of passionate learners, energized by instructors of national and international reputations. Students can focus entirely on developing new work where their daily concerns are left behind. Each workshop week includes an opening reception followed by a catered dinner, daily lunches when the week’s instructors give presentations, a mid-week BBQ dinner, a Thursday afternoon museum visit and talk, and a studio stroll at the end of the week. Studios are open 7am to 11:00 pm for after workshop access.
